Be humble - no mater how rich or famous you are!

After a fire that destroyed 800 ha (2000 ac) of tropical forest in Xishuangbanna, South China, I supported a reforestation project to help creating a new environment for endangered orchids, plants and trees. This project not only saved the environment but also gave livelihoods to more than 800 locals.

It had many famous supporters, like movie star Michelle Yeoh, a world renowned scientist, a Chinese born botanist or CEO of french luxury company Guerlain, and many more others. I was glad to see that all those people, no matter how rich or famous they are, all had one goal, which was to do something good for our planet, to save our earth.

Their humbleness touched me in a profound way, and through the entire process I learned so much and gained friendships of many.
